Cigar Review The new "oficio" is named after what used to be Old Havana's main street and where people of such "noble trades" as scribblers, intelectuals and small cigar makers set up shops. This cigar is a little bit harsh especially the first third, but also reminds us of the Petit Corona made for the Festival del Habano 2000 in the black limited edition boxes. This cigar will definitly improve with age.

San Cristobal de la Habana is the latest and probably the last of the new series of Habano brands. San Cristobal was launced in 1996 and has given the original name of the city of Havana, which was founded by settlers back in 1519 - San Cristóbal (St. Christopher) de La Habana. The San Cristobal cigar brand boasts four sizes of Cuban cigars, each of which is named after one of the fronts that defended the city in its heyday, as the hub of the Spanish empire in Latin America.
