Cigar Review The Montecristo 520 Limited Edition 2012 is a beautiful dark, redish cuban cigar with a dark oily wrapper aged for 2 years. The wrapper smells of sweet hay, barnyard, cedar and chocolate.

The first part of the Montecristo 520 starts quite earthy with strong notes of espresso, cedar, dark chocolate and vanilla. Additionally, some salt and pepper aromas are there. Smoke production is copious and dense and the strength of this fine Cuban cigar begins at around a lower medium and does seem to be increasing as it burns down.
